Kim explains the 3-step OFT Process of Mental Freedom® and its six underlying principles. She will focus on the principle of “The Unconditional Trust Challenge”, where one can begin to start trusting people to the point that they will never disappoint them! Counsellors, coaches, and teachers can apply this method to help themselves and others develop skills for overcoming life’s challenges. Kim will share principles for personal growth and self-awareness. This presentation is grounded in Choice Theory® and early research indicates the benefits of practicing “Mental Freedom”.

Kim Olver is the founder and president of Olver International, LLC and former Executive Director of Glasser International for Choice Theory-US and William Glasser International. She is also Senior Faculty with WGI. Mental Freedom® is a six-session psychoeducational program for counselors and coaches to teach clients how to apply commonsense principles into their lives for maximum freedom from self-created misery. This presentation will share the principles of Mental Freedom® so participants can leave with a plan to use the principles in their own lives to achieve increased mental freedom.

Sue Kranz – Boundaries that Work

Following Kim Olver’s presentation, Sue Kranz, an experienced parent coach and Choice Theory expert, discusses Boundaries That Work.

“Boundaries continue to be a mystery for many parents, and the biggest complaint I hear is that they just don’t work. So, prepare to learn about boundaries that work every time! These boundaries rely on no one but you for their success, which makes them fool proof.

Bring all your failed boundaries to the workshop and we’ll recreate them so they’re successful every time! And if you like to role play, we can have even more fun!”
