Because the only behaviour we can control is our own—

  • We continually evaluate our parenting method.
  • We undertake to change those aspects of our parenting method which are unhelpful.
  • We work on plans which –
  • focus on our own behaviour,
  • are designed to improve the relationship we have with our sons and daughters,
  • allow our sons and daughters to experience the reasonable consequences of their actions,
  • focus on helping our sons and daughters to develop ethics,
  • focus on character rather than achievement,
  • allow us to model ethical behaviour.

Each of us supports other parents in the group to create and implement plans which meet the above criteria.
